Zoochosis is an upcoming bodycam horror game with parasite-infected zoo animals
Zoochosis is an upcoming first-person bodycam horror game from indie developer Clapperheads that’s aiming to scare you off zoos for the foreseeable future.
Launching on PC later this year, Zoochosis places you in the shoes of a zookeeper documenting their first night shift, during which a terrifying parasite has begun spreading and infecting the animals, transforming them into blood-thirsty abominations.
You’re tasked with identifying infected animals and creating vaccines to cure them before the parasite spreads to the remainder of the zoo, all while interacting and caring for all non-infected animals.
Along the way, you’ll uncover the history of the zoo and the parasite and will have to make a series of choices that will determine your ending.
No official release date has been confirmed, but the game is expected to launch in Q2 of 2024 for PC via Steam, where you can wishlist the game.
