Warhammer Vermintide 2 Free

Fatshark has made its award-winning first-person action game Warhammer: Vermintide 2 free.

In celebration of seven years of Tide, Fatshark has made the 2018 game free on Steam between today (November 3rd) and November 7th. To claim it, simply head to the game’s store page on Steam.

The studio has also confirmed the release of a free update to Vermintide 2 on November 8th. Titled Trail Of Treachery, the update will add a new snowy adventure mission and marks the first of a two-part series.

Alongside making the game free for a limited time, all DLC is available at 50% off, and many cosmetic items are on sale too.

Fatshark has made Vermintide 2 free ahead of the release of the studio’s next game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The title, due to release on November 30th on Steam and at a later date for Xbox Series consoles, has been described as an “intensely brutal cooperative game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe”.

The studio has planned a series of activities and updates in the lead-up to launch, and anyone who pre-orders Warhammer 40,000: Darktide can play early from November 17th as part of the game’s pre-release beta period.

Finally, anyone that owns a copy of Vermintide or Vermintide 2 can claim from November 30th the Devoted Rejects Pack, a cosmetic pack for Darktide that’s inspired by the Vermintide hero characters.
