The Excavation Of Hob’s Barrow Launches On Nintendo Switch This Month
Point and click folk horror game The Excavation Of Hob’s Barrow is launching on Nintendo Switch this month.
Announced in a series of tweets by members of the development studio, the game will release on Nintendo Switch on January 25th and is available to wishlist now on the US and UK and EU Nintendo eShops.
The adventure puzzle game launched on Steam and GOG.com last September, and it follows antiquarian Thomasina Bateman who is summoned to the small village of Bewlay in the English countryside where a series of incidents and strange dreams lead Thomasina on a journey to discover the mysteries of Hob’s Barrow and its connection to her past.
Developed by Cloak And Dagger and published by Wadjet Eye Games, The Excavation Of Hob’s Barrow features a complex storyline that takes inspiration from English folklore, and features a myriad of characters with unique stories and motives.
The game has earned praise for its storytelling, characters, and tone, and you’ll be able to experience it on the Nintendo Switch from January 25th.
