Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Has Been Delayed To 2024
Rocksteady Studios has delayed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to 2024.
The announcement was shared on Twitter where the studio confirmed a new release date of February 2nd, 2024, and shared a statement that reads, “We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.”
“Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is so much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”
The new delay is the latest for the game, as it was originally set to launch in 2022 before moving to May 2023 and now 2024.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League follows members of the titular supervillain group – Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark – as they attempt to stop Brainiac’s invasion of Metropolis and fight brainwashed members of the Justice League, including Superman, The Flash, Batman, and others.
The delay comes weeks after Rocksteady Studios debuted new co-op footage of the game during PlayStation’s February 2023 State Of Play and revealed that the live-service title will require an internet connection even when playing solo, and will have a battle pass as well as lots of post-launch updates, sparking disappointment among fans.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will now release in February 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
