Souls-like RPG Thymesia To Launch On Nintendo Switch Next Week

Thymesia Nintendo Switch

Developer OverBorder Studio and publisher Team17 have announced an official release date for the Nintendo Switch version of the upcoming Souls-like RPG, Thymesia.

The game was originally set to release in 2021 before it was pushed to August 9th and then delayed by just over a week to August 18th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. Now, OverBorder Studio has announced that a Nintendo Switch version available via Cloud Streaming will be launching on the same date.

Thymesia takes inspiration from Souls-like titles, and it follows the mysterious and masked Corvus as he attempts to save the fallen kingdom of Hermes from bloodthirsty and plague-ridden enemies while attempting to recall his past.

The game features intricate and fast-paced combat, an in-depth plague weapon system, a skill tree that allows you to customise your build, and numerous challenging boss fights too.

Thymesia will launch on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch via the eShop, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles next week on August 18th.
