Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Essential Games For October 2022

Sony has announced September’s free PlayStation Plus game for October 2022.

From Tuesday, October 4th, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers will be able to claim three free games; Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2, and Superhot. The three games will be claimable until Monday, October 31st.

Superhot

Finally, Superhot is a first-person shooter game developed by Superhot Team, which requires you to defeat enemy targets by using guns and other weapons. However, time progresses at normal speed only when you move, giving you time to assess your targets and respond to enemy attacks.

Injustice 2

Injustice 2 is a fighting video game based on the DC Universe and follows Batman as he struggles to fight against Superman’s regime. The game will see you play as numerous characters from the comics universe as you fight other heroes and supervillains from the franchise all over the world. Take on the story-driven campaign or challenge other players online or locally while utilising each character’s basic and special abilities.

Hot Wheels Unleashed

Hot Wheels Unleashed is a racing game by Milestone that was released in 2021. The game sees you control vehicles based on the Hot Wheels franchise and race against other opponents to unlock additional vehicles. The game can be played by two players via split-screen or you can challenge up to 12 players online, and it offers the ability to build your own courses with the track editor.

October’s free PlayStation Plus games will be available from Tuesday, October 4th, until Monday, October 31st, and you’ll have until next week to claim September’s games; Need For Speed Heat, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Toem.
