PlayStation Plus Games For October 2023 Have Been Announced

The three PlayStation Plus games for October 2023 have been announced.

Starting from Tuesday, October 3rd, anyone subscribed to the Essential, Extra, and Premium levels of PlayStation Plus can claim the games The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West.

The Callisto Protocol

The Callisto Protocol is a survival horror game and a spiritual success to Dead Space. It places you in the shoes of Jacob Lee, who, after crashing onto the Callisto moon, is imprisoned. As a mysterious disease infects inmates at the prison, Lee must find a way to escape, all while fighting for survival and uncovering the truth behind the disease.

Gameplay sees you explore Black Iron Prison and uncover audio logs while fighting the infected and mutated prisoners through melee and ranged combat, as well as a difficult but unique dodging mechanic. The game is grim, dark, and very gory – perfect for Halloween!

Weird West

Weird West is an action RPG that follows five characters with unique stories, and is set in a world that combines the dangerous Wild West with fantastical elements. The world reacts to your actions, with plenty of characters, factions, locations, and creatures to discover and interact with.

Farming Simulator 22

Farming Simulator 22 is the most recent console-based Farming Simulator game. Like previous titles in the series, the game tasks you with building and expanding a farm across three American and European biomes. The game, playable solo or co-operatively, comes with new crops and machines, a seasonal cycle, and more than 400 vehicles.

The above games will all be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers from October 3rd, and you’ll have until then to claim September’s games of Saints Row, Generation Zero, and Black Desert – Traveler Edition.
