PlayStation Announces limited edition Astro Bot DualSense controller

PlayStation has announced a new limited edition DualSense controller, this time based on Astro Bot.

Similarly to the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and God Of War Ragnarok controllers before it, the new Astro Bot uses the adorable robot’s iconic white and blue colour scheme with “sci-fi lines” and Astro’s bright eyes on the DualSense touch pad.

The controller, priced at £69.99 / €79.99 / $79.99, will release alongside the new Astro Bot game on September 6th, where you embark on a search across 50 planets to find and rescue Astro’s crew of PlayStation-themed characters.

Pre-orders for the limited edition controller will begin on Friday, August 9th at 7 AM PT in the US and 10 AM local time in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Austria through direct.playstation.com and select retailers.

Pre-orders will also begin on the same day for other global markets via select retailers.

Astro Bot the game launches on PS5 on September 6th.
