Platformer Kao The Kangaroo To Release On Consoles And PC This Summer
Take Multimedia has announced a reboot of platformer Kao The Kangaroo.
For those who don’t remember, Kao The Kangaroo is a platforming video game series that made its debut in 2000 with Kao The Kangaroo for Windows, Dreamcast, and Gameboy Advanced. Although the game received sequels and spin-offs, the franchise disappeared in the mid-2000s.
Now, after more than 20 years, Take Multimedia has announced a reboot of the game; Kao The Kangaroo, which will release this summer for PC, Nintendo Switch, and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The game will follow Kao (Pronounced K-O) as he picks up his magical boxing gloves and explores colourful and vibrant worlds on a journey to confront famous fighting masters who are under the influence of a disturbing dark power.
According to Take Multimedia, the brand new game features beautiful, diverse worlds that are packed with secrets, magic gloves stacked with powers, numerous collectables, challenging combat with unique boss battles, an engaging story with captivating characters, and fun gameplay for all ages.
Kao The Kangaroo will launch both digitally and physically for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles this summer. A release date has not yet been revealed, but you can check out the game’s trailer below:
