Park Beyond Unveils DLC Roadmap And Mod.io Partnership For User-Generated Content
Bandai Namco and developer Limbic Entertainment have unveiled a DLC roadmap for Park Beyond and have announced a partnership with mod.io for user-generated content.
mod.io is a cross-platform user-generated content-sharing platform that will allow Park Beyond players to share and download each other’s creations in-game or through impossify.com, whether the creations are entire parks, buildings, or something else.
Bandai Namco has confirmed that mod.io’s features will be implemented into the game in August 2023, although no official date was confirmed.
What’s more, Limbic Entertainment and Bandai have also confirmed post-launch DLC plans, which includes free DLC at launch; a new theme, three new entertainers, as well as additional prefabs and more than 50 scenery items.
In September, the game will get two new modules for coaster creation, as well as challenge maps in the Autumn, free content over the holiday seasons, and so much more in the future.
Finally, Bandai Namco and Limbic Entertainment have confirmed that Park Beyond will run an Open Beta Test from June 7th to June 16th, marking the last chance to experience the game and earn the Golden Omnicar Beta participation bonus.
Park Beyond will release on June 16th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. We previewed the game earlier this month, and you can read our thoughts here.
