New Elden Ring Colosseum Update Adds PVP Modes And New Cosmetics

Elden Ring Colosseum Update

Bandai Namco today (December 7th) released its free Colosseum update for Elden Ring, introducing new gameplay modes and cosmetic options.

The brand-new update has unlocked three Colosseums in Limgrave, Caelid, and Leyndell, and allows players to participate in unique PvP (Players vs player) challenges.

Each of the arenas come with unique rules and modes. For example, the Limgrave Colosseum supports two modes; United Combat and Combat Ordeal.

United Combat sees two teams fight against one another in timed battles. Players can respawn, and each respawn and death grants points. The team with the highest score wins.

In Combat Ordeal, Tarnished warriors fight for themselves in timed battles. Like United Combat, players can respawn and those with the highest score win.

The Royal Colosseum in Leyndell offers a Duel Mode, where two players face off in a duel to the death with no respawn abilities.

Finally, the Caelid Colosseum includes all of the above modes and provides players with the ability to summon Spirit Ashes.

In addition to introducing Colosseums, the new free update has also introduced five new hairstyles available via the mirror at the Round Table Hold.

It’s also implemented a number of bug fixes and balancing adjustments for both PvP and the main game, such as increasing or decreasing the pose, speed, and reach of weapons. The full patch notes can be found here.

Elden Ring is available now for PC and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Check our review of the game right here.
