New Dune: Spice Wars Update Adds House Corrino As Playable Faction
Shiro Games has released a brand-new update for Dune: Spice Wars, adding Imperial House Corrino as a playable faction.
The new update for the 4X real-time strategy game, which launched in Steam Early Access in April, bumps the total number of playable factions to five. With House Corrino, Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV brings his royal units to Arrakis and can wield influence over the game’s other factions by manipulating the CHOAM market and the Landsraad or using the vicious Sardaukar units.
Emperor Shaddam IV’s daughters Princess Irulan and Wensicia Corrino act as House Corrino councillors, along with Sardaukar officer Captain Aramsham and assassin mentat and close friend of Shaddam IV, Hasimir Fenring.
The brand-new update is the latest for Dune: Spice Wars, with a July update making several changes to the way the game played. It introduced a slew of quality-of-life changes too as well as new buildings, new assassination missions, and numerous bug fixes too.
An update released back in June added multiplayer to the game, as well as new events, new buildings illustrations, new resolutions, and plenty more.
More details on the new House Corrino faction can be found on Steam.
