New Alone In The Dark Trailer Unveils The Dark Man
THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have released a chilling new teaser trailer for Alone In The Dark.
The 30-second clip features the voices of investigator Edward Carnby (Stranger Things’ David Harbour) and Emily Hartwood (Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer).
Carnby asks Hartwood about her missing uncle, and she responds by telling him that a Dark Man had been following, watching, and listening to him, shortly before the Dark Man appears on-screen.
The video teases more information tomorrow (August 2, 2023).
A remake of the original 1992 game, Alone In The Dark is set in the 1920s south, where Emily Hartwood’s uncle has gone missing. You’ll play as either Carnby or Hartwood and must explore the spooky Derceto manor, a home for the mentally ill, where you’ll have to fight monsters, solve puzzles, and uncover frightening truths.
The game has been heavily inspired by the Resident Evil remakes, and it’ll feature the same over-the-shoulder third-person perspective with combat via melee weapons and firearms.
Alone In The Dark will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles on October 25, 2023.
