Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Gets Official Art Book, Releasing April 2024
An art book of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been announced, with Dark Horse Books, Marvel Games, and Insomniac Games partnering to launch a Standard and Deluxe Edition in April 2024.
Titled The Art Of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the book gives fans a “behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development”, including in-depth looks at the game’s characters, equipment, locales, and storyboards with commentary from the game’s creative team.
The book will celebrate the upcoming game, which follows Peter and Miles as they embark on another adventure while facing some of Spider-Man’s most dangerous rogues: Venom, the Lizard, and Kraven, amongst others.
Project editor Jian Tucker told Marvel.com, “As diehard comic fans and gamers ourselves, we couldn’t be more pleased to showcase the Insomniac Games and Marvel Games team’s passion and creativity.
“Insomniac has delivered the definitive Spider-Man gaming experience, and we can’t wait for readers to dig into this amazing collection of art and commentary.”
The Standard Edition includes only the main book, but the Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive cover, a decorative slipcase, and a folio.
Both versions are available to pre-order now from Amazon and local comic book shops priced at $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
