Marvel’s Avengers Next-Gen Updates To Be Revealed Next Month
When Marvel’s Avengers launched on last-gen consoles last year, a free next-gen update was also promised but delayed as developers Crystal Dynamics focused on game fixes and updates. Crystal Dynamics has since remained silent on the update, until this week.
A new War Table event for the game is scheduled for February 16, 2021, which will focus on covering the upcoming free DLC pack Hawkeye Future Imperfection which will add classic Avenger Hawkeye to the game along with a set of missions.
In addition to covering the Hawkeye DLC, the upcoming War Table broadcast will also reveal details on the upcoming next-gen console update for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S consoles.
At the time of writing, all that’s known about the next-gen updates is that, according to Comicbook.com, all characters will have haptic feedback via the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller. In addition, it’s likely that the next-gen updates will benefit from improved frame rates and graphics, although this hasn’t yet been confirmed.
The news comes just as Crystal Dynamics has released new patch V1.4.1.26 for PC users via Steam to resolve various game crashes, graphics issues, and frame rate problems. There’s been no word on a console patch.
The new Marvel’s Avengers War Table event will take place on February 16th, check back then to discover everything that was revealed during the broadcast!
