Little Nightmares 3 Announcement

Little Nightmares III has been announced for PC and current and last-gen consoles.

The game, the third instalment in the Little Nightmares franchise, was announced by Bandai Namco and developer Supermassive Games during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 today (August 22nd).

The game follows friends Low and Alone as they search for a way to escape Nowhere, a journey that takes them through the Spiral, a world filled with dangerous threats.

Both characters carry their own unique item; a bow and arrow for Low and a wrench for Alone, that can be used to solve puzzles and on their quest to escape.

For the first time in the game series, Little Nightmares III will support online co-op, allowing players to pair up as either character and escape the dreaded world. The game can also be played solo with AI controlling the second character.

A new podcast series was also announced alongside the game.

Titled Sounds Of Nightmares, the six-episode series follows the story of Noone, a young girl committed to the Counties Psychiatric Institute to deal with her nightmares who befriends carer Otto, whose past collides with Noone’s nightmares.

Little Nightmares III will launch in 2024 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
