Kainga: Seeds Of Civilization To Leave Steam Early Access Next Month
Upcoming roguelite village-builder Kainga: Seeds Of Civilization is leaving Steam Early Access next month.
Green Man Gaming Publishing and solo developer Erik Rempen have announced a full V1.0 launch date of December 6th, 2022, for the game after its Early Access launch in November 2021.
Since then, Kainga: Seeds Of Civilization has received a slew of updates, with Rempen having worked closely with an ever-growing community of “Thinkers” to create a “beautiful and challenging world full of mystery and cultural intrigue”.
Alongside announcing a full launch date, a special Collector’s Edition of the game will be available for purchase, which includes the full version of the game, a 21-track soundtrack of the game’s music, a digital art book, and an exclusive desktop wallpaper.
The Kainga: Seeds Of Civilization Collector’s Edition will be available on December 6th alongside the Standard Edition of the game.
The game is set in the mystical world of Kainga, and you’ll take control of a Thinker who is tasked with growing a village into a thriving civilisation.
Although beautiful, the magical lands of Kainga are filled with danger; other tribes will compete for resources, the weather threatens all life, and colossal creatures can destroy everything you’ve built.
You’ll need to lead your tribe and explore Kainga’s eight varied biomes of barren deserts, icy mountains, tropical archipelagos, and lush jungles. Along the way, you’ll face numerous creatures and must learn to either live alongside them, tame them, or use their strength against rivals.
Death is inevitable but it’s not the end, and as you progress, you’ll unlock new biomes, technologies, and Thinkers to assist you in creating bigger and better cultures.
Kainga: Seeds Of Civilization is available now on Steam Early Access for £14.99/€16.99/$19.99, and it will fully launch on Steam on December 6th.
