How To Fix The Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order No Audio Bug
If you’re replaying Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in preparation for the sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, an issue you may have come across is the lack of audio in the game after booting it up from rest mode. The bug seems to mostly affect PlayStation 5 consoles, but there have also been a handful of reports on Xbox Series consoles too, and you can discover how to fix the bug right here.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order No Audio Bug: What It Is And How To Fix It
Most reports of the no audio bug come from players, and from our own experience, on PlayStation 5 who are resuming the game from Rest Mode, both digitally and physically using a PS4 or PS5 copy of the game. There have also been a few reports of players on Xbox Series consoles reporting no audio after resuming the game from Quick Resume.
In our experience, when resuming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from Rest Mode, there is no game audio (The PlayStation console home screen and menu will have audio, just not the game), including dialogue, sound effects, and music, and all cutscenes play at a much faster speed, finishing in seconds.
The only way to fix the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order no audio bug is to fully close the game by pressing the Option button and then scrolling down to ‘Close Game’. From there, you can simply restart the game and you’ll find that the audio has returned.
If you’re experiencing a similar problem while playing on Xbox Series consoles or on PC, we suggest you try closing the game completely and restarting it too. Doing so should hopefully fix the audio issue, allowing you to play the game as intended.
No patch has addressed the issue and with Respawn working on the sequel, it’s unlikely that the audio bug will ever get fixed. Unfortunately, you’ll just have to follow the above fix to play the game!
