Hogwarts Legacy Delayed To November 2023 For Switch

Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch Delay

Hogwarts Legacy for the Nintendo Switch has been delayed by four months to November 14th, 2023.

The game was set to launch on July 25th for the Nintendo Switch, two months after releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and five months after releasing on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.

Announced in a tweet, developer Avalanche Software noted that the team’s top priority is “creating the best possible experience” before thanking fans for their patience.

The news comes a week after Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software announced that the game had sold more than 15 million units and made more than $1 billion in total revenue.

The game follows a customisable witch or wizard as they arrive at Hogwarts as a late fifth-year student and must take lessons, learn magic, and make friends and enemies. Along the way, they quickly become involved in a plot that threatens all life.
