Hogwarts Legacy Delayed For Switch, PS4, And Xbox One
The PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions of Hogwarts Legacy have been delayed.
A day after announcing a brand-new gameplay showcase for the game, developed Avalanche Software and publisher Warner Bros. Games have delayed the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy to April 4th, 2023, while the Nintendo Switch version has been pushed to July 25th, 2023.
In the tweet announcing the delay, Avalanche Software added that the team is “looking forward to bringing you the game and we want to deliver the best possible game experience across all platforms.”
The PS5, Xbox Series, and PC versions of the game remain unchanged and will still release on February 7th, 2023, with 72-hour early access starting on February 7th, 2023.
The news comes after the studio and publisher announced a second gameplay showcase for Wednesday, December 14th, which will feature a new look at broom flight and traversal, as well as combat and an introduction to the Room Of Requirement.
