Gotham Knights Gets October Release Date
Warner Bros. and developer WB Games Montréal have finally announced a release date for Gotham Knights.
The game, which was announced during a DC FanDome event back in August 2020, was originally planned to release in 2021, but was indefinitely delayed. Now, after months of waiting, Warner Bros. has revealed the action RPG will release on October 25th, 2022.
The release date was announced on Twitter earlier today (March 9th) by the official Gotham Knights account.
Gotham Knights follow Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing as they protect Gotham City and investigate the mysterious death of Batman, a search which leads them into conflict with deadly secret society the Court Of Owls and their Talons assassins.
The game features an open-world Gotham City and sees players swap between the Bat-family members, each with unique playstyles and abilities. The game can be played solo or with a friend in cooperative mode, with the second player able to drop in and out at any time.
Last October, the game received a story trailer, giving players a deeper look into what to expect from the game, including some of the major characters that will be appearing.
Gotham Knights will now be releasing after Forspoken, which was delayed earlier this week, and will launch on PC and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
