Dune: Spice Wars To Leave Early Access In September

Dune: Spice Wars Launch Date

Developer Shiro Games and publisher Funcom have announced that their 4X strategy game Dune: Spice Wars will be leaving Steam Early Access next month ahead of its official 1.0 launch.

The real-time strategy game was released in Early Access more than a year ago, and during that time received a total of five major updates to expand the game adding multiplayer, a new game mode, House Corrino, flying units, additional buildings, and so much more.

Dune: Spice Wars sees you lead one of several Great Houses of the Imperium to dominate Arrakis and control the flow of spice. Each faction has a unique leader and bonuses, and councillors that can be selected for additional bonuses.

You’ll need to explore Arrakis to mine for spice and acquire other resources, befriend Sietches throughout the desert for assistance, research new technologies to help you on your journey against the other factions, and use spice for diplomacy and trade.

Dune: Spice Wars is available in Early Access on Steam now, with it officially launching next month. Stay tuned for a release date.
