Developer ColePowered Games and publisher Fireshine Games have announced that their upcoming detective sim Shadows Of Doubt is launching in Steam Early Access next month.

The open-world game is set in an alternate reality 1980s, and you’ll take on the role of a detective and must gather evidence to make money by solving cases or finding and selling information. The game comes with hundreds of individual citizens living in procedurally-generated cities, each with their own name, job, apartment, and daily routine.

Each case in Shadows Of Doubt has different culprits, clues, and experiences to test your skills, and the game offers multiple ways to approach each case. You’ll have to explore everywhere in the city; every bar, workspace, apartment, and hotel room, all of which may hold the key to solving a case.

While solving cases, you’ll also be able to purchase new gadgets and equipments to help you out in the world and can customise your own apartment to suit your tastes.

With its launch into Steam Early Access, the game will include the Dead Of Night mode, a specially crafted case to introduce the game, as well as a Sandbox mode with an endless number of cases to solve and civilians to meet.

ColePowered Games will reveal a full Early Access roadmap next month, outlining future content coming to the game ahead of its 1.0 release coming later this year.

Shadows Of Doubt will launch in Steam Early Access on April 24th. Check out the trailer below:
