Deliver Us Mars Gets Delayed To February 2023
Developer KeokeN Interactive has delayed Deliver Us Mars.
The sci-fi adventure and puzzle game was initially targeting a September 2022 release date but KeokeN Interactive announced a delay yesterday (August 15th) on Twitter, pushing the game’s launch to February 2nd, 2023.
A statement issued by the development team and publisher Frontier Foundry reads: “Deliver Us Mars is KeokeN Interactive’s most ambitious project to date. The journey that players will take as Kathy Johannson is packed with deeply emotional moments and fraught with danger.
“It is important to use that this experience is the best it can be at launch. With this in mind, we’ve collectively made the difficult decision to move the release date to 2nd of February 2023 in order to ensure that we are able to live up to that ambition.”
The statement continues: “Whilst we understand this news might be disappointing, we are excited for you all to face the challenges of Mars, traverse its hostile environments, and discover the mystery of the ARKs. Your patience will allow us to deliver the best experience we can.”
KeokeN Interactive ended the statement by confirming that the upcoming game will make an appearance at the Future Games Show at Gamescom with a brand new trailer launching at the end of August.
Deliver Us Mars is a sequel to Deliver Us The Moon, set ten years after the Fortuna mission with humanity closer to extinction than ever before. You play as Earth’s youngest astronaut Kathy Johannson who joins the Zephyr on a mission to Mars to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward.
The game sees you traverse and endure the surface of Mars as you discover the secrets left behind by Outward, all while using your skills to solve puzzles, overcome mental and physical challenges, and find the ARKs.
Deliver Us Mars will launch on February 2nd, 2023, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Check out the latest trailer below:
