Death Stranding Director’s Cut To Launch On PC Later This Year
Death Stranding Director’s Cut is launching on PC later this year.
Kojima Productions and 505 Games announced the PC launch of Death Stranding Director’s Cut on Twitter today (January 4th), revealing that the game will launch on Steam and the Epic Games store simultaneously in Spring 2022.
The game will support ultra-wide monitors and incorporate Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) technology, which improves framerates, visuals, and performance for all PC users. It will also include cross-over content from Valve Corporation’s HALF-LIFE series and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.
Death Stranding was released on PlayStation 4 in November 2019 and was ported to PC in July 2020. A Director’s Cut version launched for PS4 and PS5 in September 2021, which included new activities, combat abilities, and more.
The PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut will include all of those extras, and it will release in Spring 2022. No official date has been announced, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months. In the meantime, you can wishlist the game on Steam right now.
