Call Of The Sea PlayStation Boxed Editions To Launch Next Month
The special boxed editions of Call Of The Sea for PlayStation are officially launching next month.
Last December, we reported that developer Out Of The Blue has partnered with Meridiem Games to release a limited physical edition of Call Of The Sea for PlayStation consoles this year. The release will coincide with the first anniversary of the Lovecraftian adventure game.
Two physical editions will release on May 19th across Europe, a limited Journey Edition for PlayStation 5 only, and a Norah’s Diary Edition for both Playstation 4 and 5 consoles. According to Meridiem Games, the Norah’s Diary Edition of the game will include a special premium case, a concept art book, two photographs, a travel ticket, and an art poster.
The Journey Edition will contain all of the above, as well as a copy of the Original Soundtrack, a hardcover art book with more than 130 pages of design, artwork and images from the game, and three lithographs all contained in a special Call Of The Sea box. Only 1,000 units of the Journey Edition will be available.
Call Of The Sea is an adventure puzzle game that is set in the far reaches of the South Pacific in 1934. It follows Norah, who has crossed the ocean to find her missing husband after embarking on an expedition to an island paradise filled with the secret remnants of a lost civilisation.
The game is available digitally for PC and all Xbox and PlayStation consoles now. The physical editions will launch solely for PlayStation on May 19th, 2022.
