Black Myth: WuKong To Launch In Summer 2024
Developer Game Science has announced a summer 2024 release date for its upcoming action RPG Black Myth: WuKong.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the studio released a two-minute stop-motion short film in which a rabbit purchases a copy of the game but is forced to build a new PC. When he finally instals the game, a countdown appears until the game launches, at which point the rabbit has aged.
The short film ends with the camera zooming in on a 2024 calendar before confirming that the game will officially launch in the summer of 2024, although no exact date was revealed.
Black Myth: WuKong is a Souls-like action RPG that is based on the 16th-century Chinese novel, Journey To The West, and it follows The Destined One, which is based on the Monkey King Sun Wukong.
Since its announcement three years ago, Game Science has released several trailers showcasing the title’s combat, bosses, enemies, and spells.
Game Science hasn’t confirmed which platforms Black Myth: WuKong will release on as only PC has been confirmed, but we’ve still got a year and a half to find out, so check back for more in the coming months.
