Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have released an extended 12-minute gameplay preview for Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon.

Narrated by the developers, the brand-new trailer offers a closer look at the action game’s intense combat and its “multi-layered stages” that the trailer states will allow you to make the most of your mech’s “exceptional movement and attack capabilities”.

The trailer reveals how you can equip up to four weapons simultaneously to attack enemies, and it unveils some of the abilities and tools you’ll be able to use in both traversal and combat.

Also featured were looks at some of the boss fights you can expect from the game, and a look at how you’ll need to learn enemy attacks to succeed against fights.

FromSoftware’s trailer also included a quick explanation of how stagger works against larger enemies, a short glimpse into one of the many missions within the game, and an overview of how you’ll work alongside allies to complete select missions.

Finally, the trailer offered a look at some of the customisation options, including head, core, arm, and leg pieces, as well as weapons and more, all of which impact your success within the game.
