Action-Adventure Game Trifox Gets October 2022 Release Date
Belgian developer Glowfish Interactive will be releasing its debut title next month with Trifox, an action-adventure game that takes inspiration from Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, and Jak & Daxter.
The upcoming game follows the game’s titular fox hero Trifox as he embarks on a mission to retrieve his stolen TV remote. Along the way, Trifox will need to use the skills of three different character types – Warrior, Engineer, and Mage – to defeat foes across four danger-filled worlds before a final showdown at Villain HQ.
Glowfish Interactive has confirmed that Trifox offers complete customisation with the choice to combine numerous different class-based abilities, such as casting spells, using traditional melee-based weapons, and utilising varied gadgets, with a total of 30 abilities available to unlock.
The studio also revealed that the title’s four worlds will require you to fight hordes of enemies, complete platforming obstacles, solve puzzles, and defeat challenging bosses.
Trifox will release on October 13th for Nintendo Switch and on October 14th for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and more) and Xbox. A PlayStation release is planned but will come later. Check out the trailer below:
