Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection

The Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection for the Nintendo Switch has been delayed, Square Enix has announced.

The Remastered Collection was originally set to launch last September but was delayed to February 1st this year for all platforms. While the collection will still release on most other platforms, Square Enix has made the decision to delay the Nintendo Switch version but with no set launch date.

The statement issued by Square Enix on Twitter reads: “We have an update for you regarding the Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection. The collection will still be hitting Google Stadia, PlayStation, Xbox and PC on February 1st as previously announced.

“However, we are sorry to share that the Nintendo Switch versions of the games have been a little set back and will need a bit more time until they are ready, so will be releasing later this year.”

The Remastered Collection was announced back in March 2021 and bundles the original Life Is Strange and its Before The Storm prequel with remastered visuals for characters and environments, improved animations with full facial motion capture, updated gameplay, and engine and lighting improvements too.

Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection will release on February 1st for PC via Steam, Google Stadia, and PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Stay tuned for news on a Nintendo Switch release date.
