RPG EGGLIA: Rebirth To Launch On Nintendo Switch Next Month
Popular RPG EGGLIA: Rebirth is launching on the Nintendo Switch, developer Brownies has announced.
The game is a port of iOS and Android title EGGLIA: Legend Of The Redcap, which follows a redcap named Chabo who has fallen from the sky and landed on the continent of Egglia. Players must explore the world, hunt monsters for experience, gather resources, grow their village and build homes for the variety of characters they’ll meet throughout the story.
Designed by Shinichi Kameoka and Koji Tsuda of the Secret Of Mana series, the game has been “expertly optimised” for the Switch and will include updated visuals, graphics and gameplay mechanics, as well as plenty of new content, new characters, and exciting new missions too.
Brownies has confirmed that EGGLIA: Rebirth includes more than 50 new events, additional characters and inhabitants, as well as added facial expressions in event scenes and cut-in effects at key points. Players can also freely control Chabo on the Switch and enjoy an updated interface. Finally, the game’s battles, the chance of obtaining items, and event flags have all been adjusted to make them “more suitable for console gaming”.
EGGLIA: Rebirth will release for the Nintendo Switch on February 10th, and is available for pre-order on the US Nintendo eShop for $19.99. You can check out the trailer below:
