Crash Bandicoot 4

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is releasing on next-gen consoles and the Nintendo Switch.

The multi-dimensional Crash Bandicoot 4 released on PS4 and Xbox One last October and Activision and developer Toys For Bob have this week announced that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles in March, with a PC release planned for later this year.

According to a new PlayStation Blog post by Activision’s Daniel Noel, the next-gen version of Crash Bandicoot 4 will support 4K visuals at 60 frames-per-second, 3D audio, and increased loading times.

The PS5 version will also support the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, with Noel stating that players will be able to “feel the DNA change in objects hit by Neo Cortex’s blaster” and “the grip of Tawna’s Hookshot”. Activity Cards will also offer detailed breakdowns of player progress throughout the game.

Crash 4 takes place after the original Naughty Dog trilogy and follows Crash and Coco as they embark on a journey across the multiverse to stop Neo Cortex and Doctor N. Tropy. The bandicoots will be joined by classic characters and the new Quantum Masks which introduce brand new gameplay mechanics.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will release on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and the Nintendo Switch on March 12th. Players who have already bought the game on PS4 and Xbox One can upgrade their version of the game for free from March 12th, except in Japan.
