Cute beat ’em up Big Helmet Heroes gets February 6th release date

Indie developer Exalted Studio and publisher Dear Villagers have announced a release date for their upcoming cute beat ’em up game Big Helmet Heroes.

Launching on February 6th for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the game – announced last August – tasks you with venturing across whimsical levels to rescue characters.

Each of the 29 unique characters has their own personality and superpower, while being based on four combat styles; Warrior, Brute, Rogue, and Monk, helping you to face off against Goblins with an array of weapons.

Play alone or with a friend as you battle through waves of enemies, bosses, and, from time to time, your partner.

Two versions are available to purchase: the base edition priced at €24.99 and the Exalted Edition priced at €29.99, which includes an art book and a copy of the game’s original soundtrack.

Pre-orders are available now and those who pre-order the Exalted Edition on Steam or PlayStation 5 receive a three-day Early Bird Access period.
