Publisher Critical Reflex and developer Julien Eveillé have announced a launch date for their upcoming psychological horror game, Threshold.

The game sees you take on a new job at the Border Post, a station at the top of a mountain. Your job has one simple objective: keep the train on schedule by blowing a whistle but avoid looking inside.

Since the job is stationed high up in the mountains, the air is thin, so you’ll need to complete tasks and fulfil your job’s duties while rationing your oxygen.

Each step and each whistle blow consumes oxygen, but good work is rewarded with air canisters, so deliver reports, clean water filters, and collect wood and do a good job of it all.

You can also call Mo, a fellow worker, and ask him questions for assistance (Or not?), and you’ll have to make decisions throughout the game that can lead to branching paths.

A free prologue of Threshold is now available on Steam. The full game will launch on November 19th for PC via Steam.
