Dredge To Get Photo Mode Next Week

Dredge Photo Mode

Black Salt Games has announced that its Photo mode for Dredge is officially launching next week.

The New Zealand-based developer revealed on Twitter earlier today that its first major update for horror fishing game Dredge is launching next week on July 6th, adding a much-requested photo mode to the game.

Alongside announcing a release date, the studio also shared a short gif offering a look at some of the options present within the photo mode, including the ability to add overlays, although none were featured in the short clip.

As previously announced, the Photo mode update will introduce a new character that will help you unlock the camera ability.

Alongside the above, the update will include new wildlife and a Passive mode, which reduces enemy aggression to make for a less intense experience.

The update marks the second released for Dredge after the studio released a free Map Marker update in May. Later this year, Black Salt Games will release a free boat customisation update, as well as launch a paid DLC that focuses on the mysterious Ironhaven Corporation.

We described Dredge as a “compelling and moreish video game that you’ll want to keep playing into the early hours of the morning” in our review, and you can grab Dredge on PC, Nintendo Switch, and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles now.
