Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PC

PlayStation and Insomniac Games have announced that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is launching on PC in July, marking the ninth PlayStation exclusive on Windows.

The third-person action-adventure game launched on PlayStation in June 2021, and the game will launch on PC on July 26th with the port handled by Nixxes Software, the same studio that worked on the Marvel’s Spider-Man games and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC.

According to a PlayStation Blog post, the PC release will include ray-traced reflections with several quality levels and newly-added ray-traced shadows for natural light in outdoor areas to enable “realistic shadows with natural gradients in softness”.

The game will include ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates, keyboard and mouse support, DualSense controller support, and performance-enhancing upscaling technologies NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, and Insomniac’s Temporal Injection.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and pre-purchasing it will provide you with the Pixelizer Weapon and Carbonox Armour Set bonuses.

The PC version of the game also includes the five armours from the Digital Deluxe Edition and the 20th Anniversary Armour Pack, all of which are inspired by previous games in the Ratchet & Clank franchise.

More information including system specs will be announced in the coming weeks.
