Dead Island 2 Gameplay Showcase Announced For Next Month
Developer Dambuster Studios has announced a gameplay showcase for Dead Island 2 next month.
The announcement comes less than a week after the studio delayed the upcoming zombie action RPG, pushing its release date by 12 weeks from February 2023 to April 28th, 2023.
Dambuster Studios announced the showcase on Twitter, revealing that it will air on YouTube on December 6th at 8 PM GMT/9 PM CET/1 PM PT.
A description of the YouTube video states that the showcase will feature “exclusive new gameplay footage” and offer a first look into the title and its features.
The game was originally announced in 2014 and after several years of silence and alleged development trouble, was shown at Gamescom 2022.
Dead Island 2 takes place in the open world of Los Angeles and San Francisco, and is set months after the events of Dead Island, where the United States Armed Forces has put California under quarantine due to a “new and stronger zombie outbreak”.
Dead Island 2 will launch on April 28th, 2023, for PC and all PlayStation and Xbox consoles. You can check out the Gamescom reveal trailer below:
