Marvel’s Midnight Suns Launches This December For PC, New-Gen Consoles
Firaxis Games and 2K have announced a new release date for their upcoming card-based strategy RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
The game was originally due to launch in March 2022 before it was delayed to the second half of this year. This was followed by an indefinite delay in August, but an official release date has been announced; December 2nd, 2022.
Firaxis Games revealed the news during the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase alongside a brand-new trailer for the game featuring footage of some of the playable heroes and narrative cutscenes. The trailer also announced the launch of pre-orders, with a Doctor Strange Defenders skin offered as a bonus.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns sees you take on the role of a fully customisable hero and legendary demon slayer known as The Hunter, who is tasked with leading the Midnight Suns against Mother of Demons Lilith, the elder god Chthon, and their supernatural warriors.
During the showcase, the studio also announced the Marvel’s Midnight Suns Prequel Shorts, a series of five short videos that provide backstory on how Lilith became the Mother of Demons and how the game’s superheroes came together to form the core of the Midnight Suns group.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will release on December 2nd, 2022, for PC via Steam and Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles. The game will launch at a later date for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
