Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed Launches August 2022

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed

THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games have announced an official release date for the remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed.

The action-adventure game was originally released by Pandemic Studios for PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles in 2006, and THQ Nordic announced a remake in 2021.

According to the publisher, the game is a “faithful remake of the most acclaimed entry” in the series, and it follows alien invader Crypto (138!) as he embarks on a quest to stop the KGB and enact revenge on all humans across five open-world areas; Bay City, Albion, Takoshima, Tunguska, and the Soviet Moon.

Gameplay involves using various gadgets to travel across the open-worlds, including a jetpack, a hoverboard, and a flying saucer, which can also be used to abduct humans and unlock new skills. Crypto can also body snatch humans and use them as a disguise.

Although the game is a single-player experience, it comes with a two-player, split-screen co-operative mode, allowing you to play with a friend.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed will release on August 30th and pre-orders will include the newly-launched multiplayer spin-off, Destroy All Humans! Clone Carnage, also available as an individual purchase.

There’s also a Dressed To Skill edition, which includes a Skin Pack and the Challenge Accepted downloadable content, which is set to release later this year.

The game will launch on PC via Steam and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. The standard edition is priced at £34.99 / €39.99 / $39.99. The Dressed To Skill edition is priced at £44.99 / €54.99 / $54.99. Check out the trailer below:
