Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Announced, To Release In 2023

Star Wars Jedi Survivor

EA and Respawn Entertainment have officially announced a sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Titled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the game was announced with a teaser trailer as part of the Star Wars Celebration event and will be released in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series consoles.

Although little has been revealed, Respawn has confirmed that the game will follow Cal Kestis from the original game, although the sequel takes place five years after Fallen Order as Kestis and companion BD-1 continues to run from the Empire while rebuilding the Jedi after Order 66.

In an interview, game director Stig Asmussen confirmed that the game will feature ray tracing and improved lighting, and that the development is “digging into” the DuelSense’s haptic feedback on the PlayStation 5.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release next year on PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series consoles. Stay tuned for more, and check out the game’s teaser trailer below:
