Shiro Games Shares Early Access Roadmap For Dune: Spice Wars
Developer Shiro Games has shared its Early Access roadmap for Dune: Spice Wars.
The real-time strategy game was released into Early Access in April, and now Shiro Games has shared details on its planned updates for the game in the coming months, which will add new features to the game.
The first update due this summer will add multiplayer to Dune: Spice Wars. There will be two modes; co-op and free-for-all player vs player, and up to four players can play at the same time.
Alongside adding multiplayer, Shiro Games will be adding a new playable faction to the game in the summer.
The roadmap also confirmed that the game will be getting new buildings and powerful units to help you conquer Arakis via the Air & Sand update, and the Heroes Of Dune update will provide you with the ability to take control of councillors as hero units.
Dune: Spice Wars is based on the Frank Herbert novel Dune and it sees you play as one faction – Atreides, Harkonnen, Smugglers, or Fremen – to conquer the planet Arakis and its spice, while avoiding its dangerous and gigantic sandworms.
The game is available on Steam Early Access now.
